Hong Kong Tower Crane Association

The Association has been established for more than ten years. Its primary function is to organise the weighing manufacturers, agents, and contractors to formulate strategic issues for the industry, to reflect the construction industry the needs and specifications of the weighing works, to enhance the construction safety measures, and to participate in the discussion of the views of the construction industry on all related issues. The Association actively promotes good practices in the industry, develops industry benchmarks and professional training programmed to facilitate the advancement of the industry, and has a mission to train young people to enter the weighing industry.

The Association has established good communication with government departments, the Construction Industry Council, trade union representatives, and main contractors. The aim is to enhance the profession's positioning and gain recognition from all sectors of the community to raise the industry's social status.

With the rapid development of technology to meet the needs of Hong Kong's large-scale infrastructure, the industry continues to introduce new types of heavy-duty tower cranes to achieve speed, efficiency, and safer equipment to meet the needs of various projects.

The objective of the Hong Kong Tower Crane Association：

-To strengthen the communication between the industry, to promote technical exchanges, and to enhance the quality of service.

-To strive for professional recognition for weighing industry machine operators, assembly and dismantling lifting technicians, maintenance personnel, etc.

-To improve the technical and operational safety standards of the industry.

-To assist in training professional technicians to ensure the industry's sustainable development.
